Remarks
JSM college taught me a lot and the teachers helped a lot during the course duration. The friends also helped me at stages, seniors were also supportive. Not mentioning, the libraries and labs also helped as I used to practice and study there late.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is in affiliation from Mumbai University and the syllabus our study is focused on is quite good covering all the basics, a good programmer should learn to grow in his/her college life. College also holds timely practical and theory examinations to assess students and work more on the weaker ones.
Placement Experience
The college offers a few placements and job opportunities. One can also apply in Online Employability tests or hackathons for being placed, as being a CS student opens oneself to global opportunities as per their skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee I paid for my B.Sc. CS was Rs. 5,700 per year, which sum up to 18,000 including other expenses in fee, which is quite feasible according to me. The college fee is pretty feasible compared to other nearby colleges for the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a number of scholarship, the one you should always apply for is State Scholarship, provided every year. Also, there are some scholarships and discounts for meritorious students, about which you can consult the faculty.
Campus Life
The college also hosts a small annual day every year, and freshers/ farewell parties are also hosted by students. The college has a good infrastructure and also hosts workshops sometimes. The college also sends students for intercollege events like sports or debate.
Admission
At first, I just heard about this college is good. Then I applied to take admission for B.Sc in this college. I applied at Mumbai University and got a seat in this college, then I went through a small interview, and after submitting a portion of the fee I was allowed a seat in Bsc CS in JSM.
Faculty
The faculties are experienced and skilled network engineers, developers who are enthusiastically engaged in teaching us the best possible. The teachers are pretty good and always support us, whenever we have a query or need advice regarding a project we are working on.
