Course Curriculum Overview
There are different subjects thought in food technology which includes - food chemistry, food nutrition, food engineering, design layout and many more things. This is totally a new and a different subject and students won't find it hectic.
Placement Experience
Here, internships are definitely provided to students. Though some internships provides stipends while others don't. However, we get to learn a lot of new things in the internship and also we get a certificate for that.
College Events
MIT is famous for its events and programs of which, the largest event is Persona fest. The duration of the fest is four to five days. We really enjoy the fest. Persona fest committee conducts different types of competitions for different departments and every student is required to participate and food packets are distributed in such fest too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for four years sums upto Rs.6,60,000/-. Every year the fee structure is Rs.1,65,000/- which is paid at the end of the year. Fee structure might be expensive for some as 6lakhs is quite an amount.
Campus Life
Our college conducts sports for football, basketball and volleyball. College have their own laboratories for practice and it is frequently used. Also, there are computer labs too. Infrastructure is pretty amazing .
Admission
Talking about the admission procedure, students will be shortlisted on the basis of their last attended examination, that is,10+2 examination or any equivalent examination of that sort. All details on the application form should be correct.
Faculty
Totally, a different type of faculty members are required to teach food technology. So therefore, our faculty department consist of such professionals who are skilled experts and who are involved in continuous research. They are very helpful and supportive.
