Course Curriculum Overview

As unique as our course is, the syllabus is equally interesting and fun to learn. With all the mandatory field visits, nutritional facts and guidance on how to deal with the people with various nutritional deficiencies and disorders. In a way we love the syllabus and enjoy the lectures.

Placement Experience

The college provides residency for all the graduating students in the medical and health sciences field for which we are paid a particular amount of stipend. The stipend ranges from Rs 7000- Rs 30000 based on what is the field you are working in as per your degree

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our institute is one of the prestigious institutes established way before India got its independence. Our institute has evolved a lot over time and so has the fee structure. It has always been a very feasible structure and till today, it still remains affordable and very reasonable.

Campus Life

Since we have medical careers in our institute, medical conferences and guest lectures with renowned medical professionals is an integral part of our curriculum. This way we get a right amount of exposure needed to excel in our respective degree fields.

Admission

The admission to this extraordinary course is only through an entrance examination conducted by the West Bengal University. It is known as the the WBPGANAT examination which aims to assess especially your knowledge about nutrition. On the basis of the marks you score here, you will be granted admission as per cutoff.

Faculty

Our teachers are some of the most qualified nutritionists and have done and participated in many researches as well. Their contribution to our education holds a lot of importance as they make every concept seem interesting and easy to grasp. They also talk about the practical aspect of every concept.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

A Nurturing Place to Learn and Thrive

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
