The university was ranked 6th in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in 2017 and again ranked 2nd among private engineering colleges in 2017. The college is equipped with the best of infrastructure and amenities to support an overall education of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this 4 year course a student is expected to focus on imparting skills and develop attitudes that all students get placements in good companies. There are lab facilities which help a student get practical knowledge. Subjects like automobile engineering, aerospace engineering and turbo machines are taught. It is basically focused on teaching advanced human machines for energy management, synthesis of bio-fuel, environmental conservation, transportation, medical applications, etc.
Placement Experience
After completing job in mechanical engineering one can easily secure a job as aerospace engineer, automobile engineer, CAD designer, control and instrumentation engineer, mechanical engineer, maintenance engineer and many such career fields.

There are various events celebrated in the college like outdoor picnics, activities, seminars, practical assignments, sports day etc which encourages participation from all students and helps them grow and learn culturally along with academics.

Campus Life
The college has all the amenities needed for like well facilitated classrooms, laboratories, computer lab, library etc. In addition to this there is an anti ragging committee, grievance redressal committee to ensure the well being of students. Students are encouraged to participate in various events organised in college like sports day, outdoor events etc
Admission
This is a 4 year bachelor’s course and has 60 seats batch, 50% is government quota. The application form can be obtained from college office on payment of Rs.500 by preparing DD in favour of TOMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. Faculty
The faculties are all highly educated and well felicitated to teach the subject not only based on their qualifications but also with their years of experience and industry exposure which helps the students get a better hang over the subject.
