Bachelors of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering

In this 4 year course a student is expected to focus on the core objective is to mould out in being high potential aeronautical engineers who could fit into the growing needs of the industry with it’s curriculum. It focuses on the design and development as well as the science and technology behind the forces and physical attributes of Aircraft, Rocket propulsion systems and even Space crafts. It also houses studies and researches on Aerodynamic theories, development and researches on Aircraft Structures, analysis of Flight Mechanics, types of Propulsion systems, Aviation Control System as well as Aircraft Maintenance strategies.The college even provides it’s own Learjet 25B heavy aircraft and cessna 150 light aeroplane to students for practical’s. This helps the student in getting 360 degree knowledge of the subject.

After completing job in aeronautical engineering one can easily secure a job in thermal designer engineer, as consultant, aerospace design checker, assistant technical officers, aircraft production manager, employment in aircraft manufacturing companies etc.

There are various events celebrated in the college like outdoor picnics, activities, seminars, practical assignments, sports day etc which encourages participation from all students and helps them grow and learn culturally along with academics.

The fees structure varies and is decided as per consensual agreement made between government of Kerala and Kerala self financing engineering college management association. It is reasonable fees structure as the college focuses on imparting quality education for all students.

The college has all the amenities needed for like well facilitated classrooms, laboratories, computer lab, library etc. In addition to this there is an anti ragging committee, grievance redressal committee to ensure the well being of students. Students are encouraged to participate in various events organised in college like sports day, outdoor events etc.

This is a 4 year bachelor’s course and has 60 seats batch, 50% is government quota. The faculties are all highly educated and well felicitated to teach the subject not only based on their qualifications but also with their years of experience and industry exposure which helps the students get a better hang over the subject.
