Anonymous's Review On Jagannath International Management School - [JIMS] Kalkaji, New Delhi

JIMS KALKAJI is known for the top 3 colleges in ipu for B.Com (Hons.) and for all the Management courses too. The weak point of the college is just that the campus is not very big, It is in average but i must say, the infrastructure maintain by the college is very good. After coming to this college i have felt many changes in myself like earlier i used to get very nervous but now a lot of confidence has come and i think i can take many responsibilities in a great manner. When i came for the first time in college, i was very scared because i am a kind of Shy girl, then in the first year my CC gave a responsibility of CR (Class Coordinator), but at that time i thought that it wasn't my cup of tea and i refused to do it, but My CC showed faith in me and gave me that responsibility then slowly i saw a lot of change in myself, so this shows that the teachers here help you a lot in any terms.

The classes is regularly going on Monday to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is the off day for every student. The number of courses is based on semesters. Each semester you have different subjects. The whole syllabus is uploaded at the IP university website and for every college, the syllabus is the same for the same courses. Any college is formed by both its teachers and students. The teachers of this college are very supportive and give their 100% to see the development in each student and also the motivation that helps students to improve their skills. The curriculum of courses is well planned to teach students and their needs to learn more. All teachers are well qualified and use their own presentations to teach students.

The college supports a lot in giving internships. Many big corporate companies are coming to the college like TATA MOTORS, DELOITTE, CBRE, TANISHQ and so on who offered summer internship, winter internship for the interested students included good incentives. The process for all this are not very complex in nature, students can easily register by their own.

College encourages entrepreneurship and startups, they provide many opportunities for students to showcases their talents. And for all that, not only teachers but the alumni also supports in their own way.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college have 4 computer labs , A beautiful library with so many books to read, many kind of sports facilities are also there in the college. Interested students can play anything what they like to play. Also College have a beautiful cafeteria , providing hygienic foods. A big auditorium, Air conditioned classrooms, and a common room for both girls and boys separately. The most important Medical room is also there. With all of these colleges conducted many activities fest and so on like Zest&Dandiya, Star night, etc. for the entertainment of the students. Also, the college has many societies like drama society, Rotaract club, and so on. Rotaract club does all the social work such as donating to poor people, helping students of govt. Schools etc. The college always encourages many students to be a part of it and to showcase their extra skills.

To getting admission in JIMS KALKAJI, you have to give a CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the IP university (GGSIPU), students having 50% marks in their 10 and 12 classes. After that when the result comes you will get some ranks in numbers. So on the basis of the rank, you got in CET, the IP university will allot you the college. Like for last year, the Rank of JIMS KALKAJI went to about 4000 - 5000 for B.com (hons).
