Starex University - My experience so far

Situated on the Delhi Jaipur highways, Starex, an UGI grants college is a haven for studies regarding any discipline, you name it, with an excellent faculty base and placement record. It equally supports sports and cultural talent apart from academics.

The course curriculum is very interactive and is rarely hectic or boring. Our syllabus is part theory and part practical. The management here believes that the students must be trained practically even better to face the industries tomorrow in his/her future, which is very helpful and promising.

Starex maintains a record of having about 100% of its students placed in the respective academic year. The students are trained accordingly to meet the industrial standards. Starex has tie ups with NASSCOM that trains students for many well known IT firms.

No event is a stranger to Starex University every year there is a gala event happening for the students and staffs as well. We have events lie sketching, dancing, theatre, seminars etc. Shaheed Divas is an event celebrated in order to respect the freedom fighters and martyrs. We also celebrate Sarvdhram pooja which, being a secular Indian, is about celebrating all the multicultural religions.

The fee structure for B.Tech is around Rs. 80,000 per year. Totaling which for four years it's about Rs. 3,20,000. Students get many perks like scholarships, educational loans and even paying the fee in instalments.

About 150+ students study with a 100% scholarships in Starex University, provided that they have to be meritorious in their academics with a good conduct record. Educational loans, like other institutes, is accepted here as well.

With a lush green campus, it'd be a shame if a college didn't have sports. We have both indoor games such as the classic table tennis, Carom, Chess and outdoor games such as cricket and volleyball. There are about 100 learning lab in the university helpful for a student with research.

Yes, I live in a hostel which is on the campus of Starex. We here enjoy a variety of food from all the cuisines, healthy snacks are provided to the hostelers every evening. Boys and girls have separate hostels. It is fully furnished with all the essential commodities.

Like some Engineering universities Starex does not consider entrance scores like JEE mains and other such exams. I got into the college through a personal interview, at times there are entrance exams too. I got an aggregate of 70% in my boards, the minimum criteria here is 45%.

The faculty here are very dedicated, talented and of all inspire the students in all the ways possible towards new heights in their life. The technicality of the staffs is very commendable even hard to clear papers are easily understandable with them.
