Internships Opportunities
I didnot have any internships. But companies that take internships in CS generally are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Commvault, Redhat etc. Generally the stipends would range from 25 to 35 K per month.
Placement Experience
Placements for Computer Science is the best among all branches. Mostly all without backlogs will be placed, although many go into service companies like CTS,TCS , infosys. But there are good companies coming like HP, Amazon, Commvault,Red hat, Oracle etc. and many others as well providing good placement opportunities. Average package would be 6 lakhs. Although many good companies would offer upto 15 -18 lakhs.
College Events
Technical event Drishti very successful and great participation. Cultural fest Dhwani one of the best in South India. Apart from this there would be tech events held by various branches as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, To financially backward people, there is scholarship. Also for shceduled castes is what I know.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is present and they contribute to major events. Occasional meetings happen and they help through social media and other means. Also for placements and cultural and technical fests.
Exam Structure
Exams are hectic in the sense evaluation is strict, so you need to write decently to score good marks. But there will be leaves in between generally for university exams so it gives scope for last minute preparation as well.
Faculty
Faculty are good and well versed in subjects, although some guest lecturers may be not up to the mark. But being top college in Kerala entrance, students are capable and mostly study themselves.
