Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Structure and orientation of the course is truly in line with the Medical Council of India's defined guidelines. Year based examination system is followed. Before the annual exams tests and practicals are held along with assignments from time to time for evaluation of our performance. Clinical tests and skills are also evaluated.

Placement Experience

3.5

In terms of jobs I can say that the university is quite good. One can look for placement opportunities in universities own hospital as well as the campus offers that come their way. Internship is an integral part of the course and the college provides support in its own hospitals. We are asked to serve for clinical experience in various departments of the hospital onwed by the University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for MBBS program in our university is quite high and is something that you can expect from a private college offering MBBS course in India. For the entire course duration you have to pay around Rupees 80 lakh. One has to submit around Rs 15 lakhs at the start of each academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The central government National scholarship portal extend scholarship to the meritorious students. The scholarship is also extended to students from reserved categories, educationally backward classes, socially backward classes, and economically weaker sections of the society. For education loans one can visit the vidyalakshmi portal where one can apply for educational loan easily online. The State government of Karnataka also extentds scholarships for students who are domicile of the state.

Campus Life

4

The University has a good set up for extra curricular activities like cultural activities, sports activities, linguistics activities etc. Events like the Republic Day, the Independence Day, the annual fest are organised with great enthusiasm. In terms of infrastructure the university fulfills all the mandate of Medical Council of India for Universities offering an MBBS program in India.

Admission

I appeared for the NEET UG exam as well as the AIIMS entrance examination. Since I was Not able to clear the AIIMS examination I relied on my NEET score to get a good college. I got a seat in this university in the later rounds of counselling. Since it was a popular University I opted for it and completed the procedural formalities to take the admission.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members in our college are very experienced and are quite professional. Many of our teachers have years of experience in the medical domain and have performed some of the life saving surgeries. There focus is always on imparting best of the skills and knowledge to the students so that the new generation grasps the core of this noble profession of medicine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
