The structurization of a bachelor's level program in History has been done very well by the universities course curriculum. From ancient to modern and mediaeval History every aspect has been covered in depth and distributed over the course of study. Our regional centre generally organizes annual events like universities foundation Day, Republic Day and Independence Day. Apart from that there is not much in terms of celebrations, events and extracurricular activity. Classrooms are equipped with e-learning tools and that are fully functional and helpful in making learning is here. In terms of infrastructure I can say that things are ok.

For admission into the distance learning program offered by the University I applied online through the admission portal of the university. After submission of the detailed application and uploading all the necessary documents I had to wait for approval of my application. Once my application was approved I was required to pay the free through online payment link on the website. I opted for this university to pursue my distance learning program since I was preparing for the UPSC examination and this university being near to my residence provide me a good option.

The faculty at the centre where I am studying has good experience of teaching History at the bachelors level. Some of the teachers have also contributed their expertise in setting of question paper for various competitive examination where general studies is asked. They understand the fact that History can be boring at times and they make sure that it is taught in a manner that it dots between events are connected so that the students don't feel bored.
