Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is spread across a duration of 5.5 years in total. It consists of 4.5 years of study which has theoretical lectures and practical sessions too. The last one year is a compulsory internship that the students do at the hospital as a part of them training to be a surgeon.
Placement Experience
The students have to undergo an year of internship at their college's hospital so as to train as better doctors. Post completion, they can get hired if they perform well or mostly have to go for masters degree.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The feasibility of the fee depends on the student paying it. For merit holders, the total fee to be paid is Rs 5.08 lakhs. However, it differs for management students being Rs. 29 lakhs and for NRI's its Rs 97 lakhs.
Campus Life
There are few extracurricular activities like college fest, celebration of few of the festivals celebrated usually, etc., is organized in the college by its students. The main focus of students in this course is on academics.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of the college is very active. The college is still in touch with its alumnis and they also meet their fellow alumnis from time to time. The seniors are helpful individuals who are always there for their juniors.
Admission
For admission in this course in this college, students need to clear medical entrance examination, mainly NEET as its conducted at an all India level. Other than this, other eligibility is to have cleared 10+2 examination with good percentage.
Faculty
The teaching faculty consists of professional doctors who've a good experience in both the practical field as well in teaching. They clear doubts of the students very well and are always there to help them out.
