KIMS has been good to me in every single way. In all aspects be it in faculties,hospital,facilities,kims has shown a standard for wich I am happy. The college management is also working hard to improve the facilities.
Entrance Preview
I took AIPMT scored rank-3089 I chose this course because I was purely interested in medicine field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course consist of about 15 subjects.first year we had anatomy,physiology and biochemistry. Now for second year we have microbiology,pharmacology,pathology and forensic medicine.
Internships Opportunities
Nope I'm still in second year will do internship after two more years. Gladly looking forward to that. As far as I know internship is a bit difficult because one has to work 8 hours a day. But the happy part is the stipend wich is around 20 thousand as of now.
College Events
Every year two college events are organised and celebrated.In the month of spetember we celebrate kalaspandana while in the month of March we celebrate manthan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very much feasible.being in a government medical college everything is subsidised. Every year college fees comes around 30 thousand other than this during exams we have to pay some 10-15k as examination fees. Also mess bill comes around 2000 per month. So this is the total fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Lot of scholarship are offered here. Also educational loan is provided. Nope nothing I hav taken till now.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good.the gender ratio of our batch is almst 1:1. We dont give much importance to sports. Our college can be represented as a unity in diversity center as people from different backgrounds,Religion,state,language study here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. We are three in a room. But sorry to say the mess food isnt that good. The average rentals per annum comes around 2000 rupees and mess bill per month comes around 2000 rs.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors very helpful and also close friends and also donors of textbooks and shortnotes. I think no student can lead a memorable college life without interaction with seniors.
Exam Structure
We got internals in every 3-4months. After that a final university exam. First year I wud say was actually hectic. But second year so far so cool.
Faculty
The faculties are good. They try to convey the concepts very well. Also the practical halls here have necessary equipments. Then coming to hospital as there are lots of patients we are actually able to learn a lot. The pgs are also helpful. Even the attenders are helpful.
