Remarks

JIMS Kalakaji is one of the best B-school. One should opt for this college as the faculty and their teaching method is very good they make the learning easy for us and the placement opportunities are also very good. This college has given me so much in just 2 years, I have been working on my weaknesses and can see the change in myself. The college is very good, faculties are very supportive and the academics is also very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of JIMS Kalkaji is one of the best pillars of this college as they are the ones who help us to achieve our goal by sharing their knowledge with us and all faculty members are very supportive and helpful, they have great knowledge in their fields and almost all are PhD qualified. The subjects are totally beneficial for our future as it consists of Business Management, GST, Corporate Law, etc. And for us, the college conducts guest lectures by inviting professionals to the university to share their knowledge and experience with us.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Almost 75% students got placed. Many big comoanies like HDFC,Amazon, Nestle, CCD, E&Y, etc visit the college for recruitment. The package offered is very good. The average package offered is 6.5 lakhs. The faculty members are very supportive in helping us out to get placed and gives each student the opportunity to crack the interview and are not biased at all . They help us to enter the corporate world.

Campus Life

JIMS Kalkaji has a beautiful garden at the entrance of the building and has a lift . There are 4 computer labs for the students , Hi-Tech Library, conference hall , auditorium, cafeteria,photocopy shop, gym room, common room for boys and girls and air conditioned classrooms There are smart classes for the students. The campus life is good as many fests and events are also conducted.

Admission

Participants have to give the Common Emtrance Test for BCOM(H) which is co ducted by GGSIPU and there is a rank criteria for each college under GGSIPU and also the marks of 10th and 12th matters. The maximum criteria for BCOM(H) for this college was approximately 5000 rank.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
