College provides a safe and healthy environment between city so becomes accesible and study supportive. But as time passes the administration quality is falling down the bathrooms are not as much as they should be.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying Information Technology. The course structure is good. This college is an autonomous college, so they frame curriculum only what is needed. The labs need some improvement in infrastructure. Three internals are conducted in each semester. If you fail in internals you need to attend the remedial classes.
Placement Experience
Bachelor of arts students doesn't have a lot of scope for job so there are less placement opportunities and so are internships, but the college being in Pune its safe to say that there will be a lot of opportunities in the city itself outside the college which you could do in time left from college
College Events
The college conducts DhrUVA which used to be the grand cultural conducted in the college but now it is not as grand as it used to be. This year it is held only for 1 day. Another event called KALAM which is also conducted in the college. Many contests are conducted and the winners are given prizes in KALAM.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very low of cost They are three types in that (By merit list which cota you get admission) 1. Government 2. higher payment 3. self In government cota very low fees In higher payment they are some higher than government cota And in self cost of education in very high.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since the fees are so low there aren't a lot of scholarships for this but if the percentage are high and you get in grant quota the fees are automatically dropped down by 60 pecentage thus easy for everone to pay and study
Campus Life
There are chemistry labs, physics labs animation lab com0uter lab maths lab And various others for bsc students but for ba a students as they don't need much theres a psychology lab just and rest every subject has it's own department so basically lab
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are made of old structures the stone one as the college was ade 150 years ago and the rooms are enough for one and has a silent surrounding so students could study easily without disturbance the infrastructure is not high fi but affordable and clean
Alumni/Alumna
Not a lot connection between alumnis and present batches but yes there are a few instagram pages that connect us to them and thus we can discuss our problems and solutions with then but in first place teachers are very helpful that need of alumni help is requisite minimum
Admission
I got admission in this college through TNEA counselling. It is a chain process. If you pass in 12th std with minimum pass marks, you need to apply for the counselling in online. Then you need to fill the choicelist. There will be 3 to 4 rounds of counselling. After the counselling is over you will come to know which college you are going to join.
Faculty
Grant section has better quality teachers than non grant, irrespective of this teachers of economics and psychology specials are better and focused in their respective fields thus making it easy for students to percieve further studies in those fields.
