Remarks

Gargi college is one of the best colleges for undergraduation. The atmosphere in the campus is very positive, full of enthusiasm. Campus is green, spacious and in short, a great place. Supportive and highly qualifies faculty, full of talent in Gargi girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty good. Few subjects were taught through activities such as presentations by students, open book tests etc. Computer labs were made good use of during Tally classes, computer subject classes etc.

Placement Experience

College provides a wide range of great placement opportunities. Students are recruited by top companies. The college also provides internship opportunies. Gargi Placement cell does its job really well. Members of the cell are very helpful and approachable.

College Events

Annual Cultural Fest- Reverie, Diwali Mela- Zistatva, Marketing Fest- Alohomora, Commerce Fest, Annual Sports Meet, Annual Function, Farewell, Freshers, Participation is in large numbers in all the above mentioned events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. It was INR 8800 per annum. Since it's a government college, the fees is quite affordable for almost all the students. We used to pay the exam fees of around INR 1000 over and above the annual college fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any loan facility from the college. I don't have the knowledge about the loans or scholarships provided by the college. I have no idea about this since none of my friends availed this benefit.

Campus Life

Gargi is an all girls college. There has always been a positive response from girls for any extra curricular activity. Be it the annual fest or sports meet, students come forward in large numbers. There is no sort of discrimination on account of race, religion or economic status. Everyone is treated equally in Gargi.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were nice. One can reach out to one's seniors in case of anything. Friendly, polite and very helpful. There was an open door policy of the Students union. Anyone can come directly and talk to the union members for any problem or suggestion.

Admission

I got the admisison on merit basis. My score was in the cutoff range. There was no interview. I chose this course because I took interest in the subjects of this course. I wanted to learn about these subjects in depth.

Faculty

Faculty of Gargi College is highly qualified and well experienced. I never faced any issue with the faculty. Be it their support during exam preps or routine classes or assignments or attendance or mentorship in projects, I have always received constant support and guidance from the teachers.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
