The college as an institution and the staffs involved are Ok.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was well and good. There are 8 semesters in total. Examination was conducted semester wise every 6 months, except for the first two semesters (First two semester examination was conducted together at the end of first year).
Placement Experience
The placement cell in our college was really bad. Literally they gave no value to placements. Only a couple of companies came as part of placement and the ones which came only took a very small amount of candidates.
College Events
Annual day & Tech fest were the only 2 college events that the college use to celebrate in a good way. That too not in a great way. They were really bad when it comes to students cultural events and gave least value to them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was Ok. When I was studying, our fee structure was 75, 000 per year. When considered to other colleges, the fees that we paid was slightly on the lower side (when compared to other colleges like VIT or Amrita).
Fees and Financial Aid
No. Nothing of that sort. They were really strict with the payment of fees. Even if they allowed scholarship to a certain candidate (that occurs very rarely), that was not 100% scholarships. They would maximum deduct 50% of the amount to be paid. That too, the student have to bow down for it.
Campus Life
There used to be a sports day. No one gave much value for it. Extracurricular activities and all are given least preferences. Lab was kind of Ok. Nothing spectacular of any sort. But lab was just Ok.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of hostel is good from outside but very small rooms are provided to 2 students each with a bathroom and balcony. there is no ac and refrigerator and television in the room and only an almirah
Admission
I was admitted through a entrance exam test of 150 marks and it contains 50 english questions, 50 general knowledge questions and 50 maths questions to be solved within 1 hr 30 minutes and after 7 days the result will be declared
Faculty
Some teachers are highly educated and teach through smart classes with a projector and had a good teaching style with english fluency so that each and every student understand everything taught in the class
