College management have only eyes on profit for NRI students they ask for 2lak of ruppes for admission

I didnt get good marks for all india engineering exam but i got good score for kerala engineering exam and also for mt +2 exam and i choose this College bcz it is the nearest good College

Curriculum was good by university is below average in case of publishing the result and revaluation and giving certificat elective was easy to study and faculty give us great support

Internships Opportunities

There was nothing like that offered in there and we where went for a internship which was a paid intership at bsnl which is also a waste of time they will give u certificat any way

When i joined college there where many reports that several company came here and recruted 75% students etc. When we pass out there was only 2 companys TCS and infosys that all

College Events

We celebrated almost all festival in College and we also have tec fest every year also that is also just a low budget stund and we also have 3 day arts fest also

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is not that high but they occasionally ask for money like arts fee lab fee test paper fee and many other otherwise they make it as due and dont give us the hallticket

Labs where good but only sports we played is football and there is also tournament for that but for sports day we have all type of sports but nobody comes that day bcz it will be like day before series xam

Hostel Facilities

I was a daily scholar so i really dont know about hostel facilites. Even though they provide decent hostel and mess which is also a low cost mess fud where give at lower price

Alumni/Alumna

Ya there is yearly alumni association meeting in college which is a good function it a great opportunity to meet our seniors and our frnds teachers and our campus also

Exam Structure

Exam where ok and lab also good but evaluation was not so good. Every time there will be some sort mistakes in question papers and many such problems

There was good teacher and rude teachers also but no of good teachers where high and lab assistance where very friendly and principal hod where waste and there was also a chairman who is another waste

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
