Remarks
To excel one has to focus more on self preparation as the college is isolated from much Facilities. Lack of Experienced faculties and low student admissions trouble the College. However ylthe faculty members are helpful and cooperative. Alumni from this college are settled at good places and in many countries. So nothing is impossible if one is determined to achieve success.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I selected is B Tech, the college also offers am Tech and MBA. The exam curricula is simple and the campus is a Autonomous campus which has a seperate examination cell. We have 2 semesters throughout the year which consists of 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam at the end of semester
Placement Experience
There is good opportunity for placement as placements are collaborated with Silicon in Bhubaneswar. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Mindtree, Capgemini etc visit the College in 4th Year.
College Events
Some events taking part in the College are Technical Festival, College Sports Event, Inter College Sports Event, Model United Nations, Litterateur of the Fall, Food Fest, Singing and Dance Competition, Rangoli Competition, Quiz Competition. These events are carried out with full coordination. There is a issue with the low budget but events are carried with enthusiasm and dedication.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is 3.6 Lakh tuition fee for full course. Every year 30 Thousand cost is for All hostel facilities excluding Mess. Mess is paid on a monthly basis depending on number of days student is in the hostel. Thus the best thing is that College is affordable and gives ample opportunity for a bright future.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is notifications available for any upcoming government scheme for scholarship or loan that is being proposed. It is available on the College Notice Board. If you opt for loan then college cooperates with Bank or Institution for sanction of Loan.
Campus Life
The college offers a lush green 35 acres campus with a cricket, football grounds and a kabbati, volley ball, Throwball courts, and there is also a big indoor stadium in which there is Bhaskar Babu Badminton Academy. The college is very good in sports.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel facility in the college, there is a special hostel for both boys and girls which is provided with a mess area in the college. There are almost 40 rooms in which 4 students adjust per room and the facilities are common bathroom for each floor
Alumni/Alumna
They are helpful if you contact with them through Social Media. You can also interact with them if they attend an Alumni Meet. Most of them are placed in good companies so you can learn from them.As for Seniors some form of ragging take place like any other College. However it is worth negligible.
Admission
I got admission in college through My JEE rank list, even if I didn't have attend OJEE Counselling. There is plenty of empty seats in the college so there is no rush for admission. You can take admission here as late as possible it is upto your choice. Students will rank low upto 10 Lakh can opt for branch of their choice. For admission you have to contact any college authority and you can easily get admission. Otherwise if you attend OJEE Counselling then you have to select this college in time of online filling.
Faculty
There are issues with a few faculties as they are new and inexperienced. All the faculties are M. Tech postgraduates amf some have also done PhD. There is a good environment for studying with good academic atmosphere. Main issue is there of lack of extra academic facilities and training. There is no facility of Internship and Research. One has to be focussed on self preparation for achieving good results.
