Remarks

My overall conclusion about Sinhagad college is very good. Regarding college management it is very systematic and cooperative.

Entrance Preview

During my time there was a entrance test MHCET. I have scored pretty good. The main reason for opting this college is that they have got very good faculty,labs,infrastructure and placements too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for Civil Engineering course. You will get all the details of course on their website. Those who are really interested in core area those only should opt for this course. In future there are many good prospects are available for civil engineers too.

Internships Opportunities

This college come under Pune University. As per Pune university norms internship was not the part of this course. So for my batch we didn't have internship programme.

Placement Experience

4.5

This collge got very good placements and job opportunities. For other courses like IT,Computer,Mech etc placements are very good. If you have very good score through out each semester then placement is not a issue at all. Provide you need to prove yourself and need perform equally good in academics and extra curriculum activities too.

College Events

Sinhgad Karandak one of the biggest event conduct every year. In this event every college of Sinhgad Institute participate. There are lots of opportunities to show case your talent. There are many technical paper presentation events. Events on robotics competitions too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compare to other engineering colleges fees are competitive. College has got very good infrastructure. During my course 2004-2008 fees was around Rs 40,000 per year. It is quite expensive but you will recover it soon after you get a good job in good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

During my course there were no scholarship or loan facility available. Need to check whether they have come with any good scholarship programme or not.

Campus Life

Campus life is too exciting. Lot of events,extracurricular activities in the campus. They celebrate various days too. Various study tours,seminar are there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess facilities are equally good. Now they have upgraded with new hostel buildings. You can visit the college and can check out the hostel. It's hygienic and clean.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is very good. They used to conduct alumni meet. But in last few years it doesn't seem too active. Sinhagad student got very good positions in the market now. They are at VP,AVP level. They are performing very good.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as per Pune university norms only. For engineering course exams are quite tough. You have to prepare seriously for the exams. College also conducts internal exams regularly.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is very good. College has got good lab setups and infrastructure. They got expertise in each subject. They have started with master degree course too.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES).
