There is no any negative about my college.Only placement if core branches is not so good at our college is working on it.The best thing about our college is it's infrastructure and environment these are the best thing that about my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I belong to civil engineering department.Which is one of the oldest branch in HIT. There are many other courses like CSE, ME, IT, ECE, EE, CHE, FT, BTAEIE, IC. we have all labs and courses are available in every departments.we gave separate lab rooms of every departments.
Placement Experience
Placement in core branches like CE, ME, EE is not so good.But other branches like CSE, IT, ECEhave more than 80% placement and branches like Ft, BT, IC and EIE have also good placement record.Bt our college is trying their best to increase the placement record in core branches also
College Events
We celebrate so many events like Rangmilanti, Auspicious Paradigm, cultural Meet.Bt the event that every hitian wait every year is Prayukti that is college fest.held in every year in a month of March or april.tThis event is held for three days
Fee Structure And Facilities
42000 every sem and hostel fees is 12000 every sem.This amount is very feasible.In West Bengal every college have feasible amount for there fees.which is very good.All type of students are able to read in our college with this fees structure
Fees and Financial Aid
If you top in your department then the scholarship of Rs 50000 will given.U can use that amount for your tution fees. There is also a prize money for student of the year award of amount RS 25000.There is no any loan facilities available in our college
Campus Life
Our college programs so many sports like Cricket, Volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, Chess table tennis every year these sports are played between departments.Once a year there is Annual sports they in that there is Race, high jump long jump, javelin and many other sports
Hostel Facilities
The hostel are very neat and good. The food is average and there will be non veg foods in the weekend. There is A/C and non A/C rooms and there is also attached bathroom and also common bathroom. There will be 4 students in one room. The rent for one year is about 70000 rs.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college students are like family.Seniors in our college is very helpful to juniors inside or outside the college.They teach us how to handle your life in your ups and downs.They help us in studies and preparing for jobs and interviews.
Admission
I got admission in HIT through wbjee entrance exam.After that you get the college through ranks in WBJEE exam. you have to select the options of departments of each college accordingly in which college you want to take admission.
Faculty
All faculty in our college is M.tech holder from IIT OR Nit. They have good knowledge about there subject and they are highly experience. They know how to interact with student and handle them.They are also good in extracurricular activities
