Remarks

Positive remarks include the cost of living. It is very must nominal as compared to cities such as bangalore. Also the college building and infrastructure is awsome. Negative remarks include that the college dosent have any canteen. There is no basketball court. The tt board is only one and its slightly damaged.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is fantastic and interesting. Exam structure is as usual. There will be 3 internals out of which best of two will be considered. And one final exam is conducted at the end of the academic year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement or job you can do in college hospital shri indresh hospital.yeas intershis is also there Free of cost you can intern in hospital and any atime you can go in any lab and ask for anything well developed labs

College Events

4

Sports meet is conducted for around 15days. One day there will be athletic meet. Then there was an intercollegiate fest in the august of last year. Then a college day is celebrated in September or October. Also there is an ethnic day. Then graduation day is done in month of February or March. With that pre graduation week is celebrated with blood donation day, cultural day and a farewell party.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is around 15000 per annum. And on average 36000 for food and 6000 hostel rent. It is feesible. Since it is a government Medical college, it charges nominal fee as described above. All the students are merit based admissions. Most of them are from a middle class backgrounds and it is helpful with such a nominal amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

College dosent give any scholarships or loan. But we can apply to government scholarships and college will allow that and we can avail the scholarship accordingly. Students apply for mhrd scholarship, Vidyasiri scholarship and many others.

Campus Life

4.5

There are all kinds of extracurricular activities. Labs are big and spacious with all the required instruments. Also an NSS camp is conducted every year for 3rd year students for about a week. There is a college ground with kabaddi court, volleyball court and a throwball court. In the same ground students play cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am staying in the college hostel. The hostel is very good with proper infrastructure. The rooms are spacious. It is a two sharing room. There is an attached bathroom. There are 22 rooms in one floor. And a batch students will be alloted in the same floor so that it is helpful to all of the batchmates to mingle together.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good. I have had interactions with my seniors. Many of my seniors finish their pg exam and come back to the college to work as tutors in desired departments. Seniors are helpful in many ways. They guide us well as to what we have to do and how we have to read.

Admission

We get admission by clearing neet exam and based on the marks we secure. We must select the college of choice and based on merit list we will be alloted the college. I got into this college through merit. Admission process is simple, we must come to the college on the alloted day and fill the admission form, pay the college fee and submit the required documents.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is up to date with the topics, dedicated and intrested. The faculty is full fledged and there are enough teachers for all the departments. Also there are Pg's for most of the departments. They teach the subject and finish the topics in time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
