The course structure is very nice here. I am currently pursuing Electronics and Computer field which majors in Electronics and minors in Computers. We have 8 semesters in which 4 semesters we are taught Electronics and the other 4 we are taught Computers. The Labs are high tech and I love how everything works. We have 2 main exams, i. e. Mid semester and End semester exams. Followed by Lab practicals and unit tests.

The college provides placements and Job opportunities. Highest package here is around 40 Lakhs per annum. Thapar college also provides Some internships and stipend can go upto 1-2 Lakh per month. DEShaw, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS and many more companies come and give placements to students.
