My College

Nothing bad just that our college does not arrange for Internships. The management should take care of this.

The course curriculum is very good. We have updated syllabus according to recent technology and Industrial needs. To make a better professional engineer our college has well furnished laboratories. Equal importance and care are given on our theory as well as practicals so that we can opt for jobs in any field whether it's industrial field or IT based job or to the research field.

We have average placement record in our college. With average LPA of 4 lakh. Many IT companies visit our college and we have off campus facility. So many other IT companies can came for recruitment. Almost 80% students gets placed within the completion of course in our college. Many Core startup based companies also visit our college. IT based companies such as TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZENT, TECH MAHINDRA, MICROSOFT(recruted very few students), AMAZON(only 2 students got chance) and many more.

Our college organises tech fest and cultural fest anually. Our college fest one of the biggest in Kolkata and also the renowned one. Almost all the other colleges from Kolkata participates in our college fest. The college fest lasts till one week and at the end our management organises a grand musical night where bollywood singers perform.

The fee structure is feasible. For my course I need to spend 4 lakh rupees in 4 years. The fees can be paid online or by draft to the bank which is present in the college campus. There is no additional charge except that if the fees is paid beyond the time limit then we have to pay late fine. Yes the college provide the transperancy in the fee breakdown.

No I didn't opt for education loan. I am completely unaware of this fact. As very few of my friends have opted it so I am not at all interested about this.

Gender ratio is almost 70% boys and 30% girls. We have a huge campus of 80acre. We have facility for every sports in our college. With two huge grounds and separate basement for indoor sports. We also have special IIOT and Machine learning lab. Every year our department (others departments also) organises inter college competition separately on prototype designing that will be helpfull for mankind and many more robotics event during fest also. Our campus is huge and only our college accomodate 4000 students every day. There are also 3 other colleges and a school of Heritage group separately.

No I didn't opt for hostel. As per my friends they share room with 3 and has good facility. Average good. My friends pay 4k per month to avail the college hostel which are available for girls only. And the boys avail the PG nearby college with PG fees a little less around 2. 5k to 3k per month.

One of our Alumni cracked UPSE exam in 2018 and we had a pretty nice conversation with him. He just asked me to work hard and try to gather knowledge from wherever we can irrespective of any field. This will help in the long run and for the betterment of one job life. And lastly he told us to keep ourselves updated with the modern world.

One of the best college in the city. Good teaching facility with qualified faculties. I am currently pursuing B. Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in Heritage. The placement record is also better than many other colleges. There are two process to get admission in this college. First through Entrance exam(WBJEE and JEE MAIN) and secondly through Management Quota(MQ).

Most of faculties hold a PhD degree in their respective fields. The average age of our faculties are above 40. The number of lectures are based on the credit points of the respective subject (If its 4 then there will 4 lecture class per week for that subject). Few techers hold the experience of Industry based experience.
