Remarks

Its managed pretty well.No complaints.it is a good college to learn and overall good remarks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Good patient load as the college s the oldest in karnataka, good proffessors who are interested in teaching clinically.there are research opportunities for students but it is not compulsory, working in the hospital as house surgeons gives us confidence to work in other private hospitals also.

Placement Experience

4

Internship allowed me the face a lot of patients and learn skills needed.it was a good experience working at KR hospital and cheluvmaba.

4.5

College festival,sports day,medical CME,State conferences,quiz,magazine day,ganesha festival, holi,hostel day,teachers day,mmc aluminI day,graduation day,intercollegiate sports events etc are conducted every year.many students participate in the events and it's always successful.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a merit seat so it was only as much the univerity alloted, around 50,000 per year, along with monthly mess bill of 3000 per month, fees wI'll be paid at the sbi bank in the college campus through card or cash.No extra money s demanded by college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provided scholarship for toppers in the subjects obly.I did not get any.education loan was not availed by me.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio now s almost equal.our college s no leas in extracurricular activities, annual sports meets, workshops, conferences, ganesha festival, hostel day etc are conducted.Students from all over India come to study there and all are treated equally,we get to learn more from the hospital side with interaction to patients.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I had opted for hostel.it was provided with all the necessary things like table chairs cots common bathroom, food was good, vegetarian food mostly but egg was provided once in a week, laundry facility available.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there s a Mmc aluminI association, yearly gathering s conducted and various developments of college and any other issues will be discussed.

Admission

I get admission through the merits but now exam were taken. You have to take admission when merit list come and then go to college and pay the chalan and attached your documents with it then diposit it in adminstration block

Faculty

4

Very experienced and knowledgable faculty are there, seminars and research activities are a part of the education. All the subjects of that particular year are divided and alloted so many hrs per week so as to complete the portion and to meet the attendance criteria of the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
