Remarks
First of all, it was the reputation of our college and it's our FOOD TECHNOLOGY department which made me opt for this college. Secondly, it was recommended by many of my seniors whom I was acquainted with before coming to this college. Thirdly the college has some great infrastructure laid upon for students' assistance. Fourthly the faculty members are very helpful and always motivate the students for academics as well as for co-curricular activities and for new innovative ideas. Fifthly the placements are actually good and there are various companies for job offerings. And the college is near railway station which makes the journey quite easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I've only studied Food Technology in GNIT. The courses are very well planned which makes a bridge with industry requirements, so it helps the students to learn more efficiently. The faculty members encourage us to work more in the practical field by constantly motivating us to publish more journals and undertake more projects. And the faculty members really help and encourage us to come up with more innovative ideas for different innovation events. As per the student to faculty is concerned, there are 12 faculties for 62 students.
Placement Experience
The college's main focus has always been career-oriented. The college went a step ahead by tying up with MyPerfectice, which is an online skill development platform for students to develop their aptitude, core skill, and reasoning ability which are very relevant and helpful for placement. Most companies are very relevant to one's career growth. Our faculty members always encourage us for entrepreneurship and many seminars are held on that accord. Every year there are few alumni meet with students which helps the students for any referral.
