Good College

Good College, after all the mixed feelings I have for this college, in the end I had a great four years in the college but I think most of that credit goes to my friends. Who helped each other in every stages.

Like many students at university, you may be unhappy about the results you attain in exams. You may feel that even with all you are doing there must be something more or different you could be doing to get better grades. We have all at some time or other heard of that student who only studies a couple of hrs for final exams and scores A's every time. We stand in awe of those who seem to breeze through without undue effort and seem to need very little in the way of studying to nail an exam. The reasons for success, in what I think are the vast majority of cases, are less esoteric than many students think: successful students consistently apply a series of productive strategies with view to attaining clearly identified learning and grade goals throughout the academic term.

Core jobs are less. Information technology jobs are more. They don't used to give internship earlier. They really need to give at least six months of internship which should be mandatory for every candidates.

Saarang, its is an all India level fest. But most of the time, people from all part of south India attends the fest not much candidates from other parts of india. Still it is a fun filled event with a lot of participation.

Compared through govt. College's the fee structure is expensive, but as we know the branded things are usually expensive and symbi is one of the top college in South-West india. If we see from students perspective the fee structure is not so expensive because they all comes from rich family.

scholarship can make a big difference in your education. The money from a scholarship helps by allowing you to be more selective in how you spend your free time. You'll be able to maximize the college experience through service-learning, volunteer opportunities and internships

Not so much, they are not having much extracurricular activities as they want to concentrate on academics more but I don't think it works out well. They need to have more extra curricular events which would enrich the students life.

No I haven't opted for hostel since I was a day scholar. But I have been to the hostel, I won't recommend it since the facilities are not up to the mark and the food they supply need to be improved. I think the average rent is around 6000

No very helpful, they conduct it every year and I don't think it has been very helpful. Because are mainly looking for students have good contacts who can give good placements. I think it is a good thing for the future students.

I gave the entrance exam (set) after that we have go through counselling to choose your branch. If you won't get your dream branch then just take any of the branch afer that you can apply for the branch change.

Very good, initially we had teachers with btech, then it was made mandatory that mtech is mandatory. The quality of the teachers is very good but I don't think they are paid enough (what they deserve).
