5

We have semester exams with 4 papers each semester having 100 marks each,80 in end semester and 20 in mid semester.Semester exams are very student friendly and relevant now a days. Not Industrial visits but Social visits are organized by the students, but the students are groomed equally for industrial and academic career with immense care and in an advanced way

Placement Experience

A lot of big companies like TCS,cognizant,Techno India,Delloite visit every year and a lot of students get placed with a good annual package. We have a placement cell to guide the students for better placement

College Events

4

The annual fest of the college is XAVOTSAV,it is one of the biggest college fests in India and is very much culturally strong also we have Bengali Literary Society which celebrates Xavullash in a very well defined manner to carry the culture of Bengali Language and each departments have their own fest eg,we the stat department celebrate EPSILON DELTA

Fee Structure And Facilities

College takes the total fees im four segments, the amount of fees is higher than other colleges but we should keep in mind we are provided the best facilities from the college in terma of environment and education and college receives this money only through debit card

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't need because already I am receiving INSPIRE scholarship, but if a student is economically backward there is an opportunity for him or her for applying scholarship through college office

Campus Life

5

gender ratio is 1:1,campus life is a bit strict but amazing, college encourages every student in extracurricular activities, labs are very much modern, sports department is a pride of the college, the college is a no smoking and no politics zone and not skewed to a particular gender.Although its an Christian collwge they support humanity more than any religion.Boy,girl and others are treated same, there is no discrimination in terms of gender, and the students are nkt also discriminated in terms of their economic status, each of the students get a friendly environment

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No,I am a day scholar student, but listened about hostels, hostel premises are very clean and the staffs are student friendly, students are served high quality foods and get a soothing environment for studying

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the only thing that is a bit of a new one is in my job search the entire day, and a bit of a new year to you, I have to go through the use of the most important thing is that the new year to you,

Admission

Due to the Demand for Data science and statistics all over the world I have opted for this course.Students are called for admission through their HS Marks.A cut off marks is stated and the students having more than it are called for admission on a particular day

Faculty

5

We have 6 lectures of 50 minutes on an average each day including practical,The average age of professores in our department is approximately 35 years, they are very well behaved, extremely talented and give superior effort to enrich us with the knowledge of the subject.Everybody os from academic background

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
