Remarks
The college is pretty good. There are activities in the college. There are many events through the students can learn. The facilities are good study life is good. The social life of the college is also pretty good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and the stuffs are very good in the college. From the very 1st day of my College life the department heps me to overcome my faults. There are several class exams in the sek and one sem xema and practical exams and practice tests also. If the students have any problems then the facilities help us with everything.
Placement Experience
The placement is good and satisfactory. Each department students got placement each year. But chemical and bt and ft department got some more placement offers. The students who are keen to do some research or internship there are many options for them too. By the way the placement is quite good.
College Events
In the college various kind of events are celebrated. At 1st the fresher's welcome ceremony then annual sports day, annual cultural meet the AP, RM. There are so many events. Teacher's day then the management events organised by IEEE, IETE, CIVIL ERA. there are many technical events every sem. Then comes college fest and the after math cultural event. Then there are farewell party of seniors of respective departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is same as any non govt engeneering college. The tution fee is 41k to 43k oer sem and there is additional 12k for each sem due to the hostel, that is the hostel fee. And in every odd sem 1k is added to our fee structure because of library and play cost. The fee structure is good. And for the tfw students they only pay the 1k for library and games and the hostel fee if they live in hostel if mot they only give 1k.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are student welfare committee in our college they informed us for the scholarships and the educational loan. Then we students go to the respective teachers and fill the forms of scholarships and educational loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. There is a gym and many fields. We play in night or in after noon in the feilds. There are many events in the college. Then the fun with seniors is a great part. There are various tyoes of games played in this college. The social life and the student life is good in this college.There are many events in technical support. The college is found of robotics and automation.
Hostel Facilities
yes I opted for hostels. The hostets are pretty good in space. In our hostel there are 2types of room 1for 2 students and 1for 4 students. The room for 2 students is kind of small but the 4 students room is quite big and good. There are fan and book shelves in each room. The hostel has 3 floors and 2 big bathrooms in each floor. The bathroons are cleaned thrice a week.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are not so mush harmful. They will treat you in a good kind of way but if you disrespect someone then they will take some actions but not so much. They will not abuse physically or mentally.
Admission
I got admission in the college (Haldia institute of technology) through wbjee exam. 1st I complete my 12th exams and then prepared for the wbjee exam. After giving the exam when the reasult came my general rank was 10803 and tfw rank was arround 3k.Then I go in the process of counciling. Then I choose Halida Institute of Technology in the 1st spot and the stream was Electrical Engineering. Then I got admission in this college.
Faculty
The college faculty is very good. When we the students have any kind of problem we go to the respective faculty members of the subjecs and they help us with everything the got. If we have some problem and we are in hostel then we what's app our problems to the faculty members and then they help us through this.
