Remarks
Join, if can struggle. No body is going to help u, every one is here to make money you have to use your own potential to get success, no one else is going to do it for you, no matter from which institute your pursuing your course
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was dived into 6 semesters( when I joined ) Now the things has changed, DGCA has changed the pattern with amendments and implementation of CAR- 147 since 2018 Contact the institutions for latest course & exam structure, Or refer to DGCA guidelines of training organization ( CAR sec 2 Series "E" part 8 )
Placement Experience
No company in aviation visits college for placements. U have to apply your self for the jobs Even for the internship, I had applied my self & and got the opportunity to learn at Air india Mumbai base ( which is best for AME on the job training in India) further I will apply for the job.
College Events
Recently IIT kharagpur aviation Tech fest was organized in the campus farewell, fresher's party and teachers day is celebrated.that's it Very small scale participations are there As the institute is very small it self Nothing else is there to describe about it
Fee Structure And Facilities
In case of fees institute is very accurate and precised, even late fine of Rs200/day is also followed strictly, no Mercy with fees is tolerated ( so dont take it for granted) Some of my mates are due with the fine of 50k to 2 lakh fee breakdown and structure is mentioned clearly on the official website Modes of payment - DD, NEFT net banking
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholar is provide by govt and not by the college And scholarship is not given to gen candidates, So I don't know much about it
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 1:7 where 1 stands for girls and 7 for boys jet engine + hydraulic equipment are available for training in jet shop 3 Live aircraft's - hawker hs 125, Cessna & Piper Comanche is there for practical training In addition of these, it is equipped with a radio and instrument lab and a electrical and electronics lab ( where all the aircraft instruments r placed, radio apparatus And related components) P.s - no shortage of any equipment tools aur component for training
Hostel Facilities
Shared Hostel rooms r provide at this price I would suggest not to opt for the hostel, as may PG's and rental rooms are available in the main sonipat city, which is around 7-8km far frm there Pros -clean And peace ambience Meals are always on time 24x7 guard available Spacious and green hostel campus National level cricket ground for sports & a decent open are for playing volleyball Attached to institute Cons - poor food quality Frequent problem of drinking water Over priced Not any essential shops are around hostel, have to travel to the city in case of any essential requirements Poor power backup (most of the time generator remains out of fuel )
Alumni/Alumna
Yes it varies person to person, but in my case Seniors were friendly & supportive ( it all depends on u, how you talk/treat to them) As we all know. to survive or get into this field you need a good bonding with seniors and colleagues
Admission
I am a aviation enthusiasts, so I decided to pursue my career in Aviation after my 12th I opted this college because it was one of the oldest and reputed institute of that time. For getting into it - I had applied for AIAEE entrance exam.
Faculty
Faculty have good knowledge of the their field MR AK Yadav( chief instructor ) is the best faculty there, he is having great knowledge and experience of this field, you can consult him for any of your queries and doubt of any kind, he is the only one of my choice. Ps- Most of the instructor's are useless there
