A College,full of life

The college is quite good, i won't say its best. In terms of making memories and enjoying college life, it's best. It is also very good in organising workshops and cultural activities. But the facultiesbare not that good and i would say it is lacking a bit in terms of academics.But overall it is quite good.

The course curriculum is according to the MAKAUT syllabus, It is concise and also our college provides much options for research and many interactive fields.There are also courses of ROBOTICS, CIRCUITRIX etc. I am able to learn new technologies in technical field and it enhances my quality of being an electrical engineer. The exam takes place semester wise.

The placement is mainly of computer science and IT sectors.The number of core companies appearing bin the college are less. But the number of software companies coming for placement are good.There are opportunities for internships but i have not availed any yet. Many students are given opportunities to do vocational training in IOCL HALDIA, DOCK, ADANI and many others.

There are many technical and cultural events in my college. Since we are in West Bengal, a traditional and cultural environment is obvious. The technical event held are: 1.PRAYUKTI - This is the technical fest of our college where many events like robotics, CIRCUITRIX, quiz, gaming events etc. 2.IEEE EVENTS, - Our college is in the local chapter of IEEE,It hosts many events on technical fields The CULTURAL events are : 1.RIVERA -The annual fest of our college where a celebrity singer comes for our entertainment and a mesmerizing performance 2.Rang Milanti 3.Auspicious Paradigm -these are cultural and traditional events consisting of dance, singing, poetry and many other events

The fee structure is totally feasible.It is moderate amd affordable. The hostel fees is also moderate. The college also provides scholarship for challenged students and also on other fields. The various states also provides many scholarship to the students as per the requirement and the college cooperation is very well in this.

No, i didn't opted for any scholarships or education loan.Though many students seek them. Also a drcc service is there for students loan.

The campus life is great. The campus is of 50 acres and very well planned. There is a lot greenery and a beautiful garden. There are numerous labs for all the departments which are very well equipped. There are two big playground for cricket, football. A very well basketball court and volleyball court. The gender ratio is about 4:1 of boys to girls. There are 7 boys hostels and 4 girls hostel There are many sports activities and a sport day is also held. Many extracurricular activities like quiz, debates, extempore etc are also held. The essential services like ambulance, medical stores, students' copy,pen, such college things stores, restaurant, etc are there in the campus. Students from all the religions and caste are there in the college and there is a unity in everyone.Many workshops on various activities are also help like of ethical hacking, coding etc.

No, i have not opted for hostel. In the first sem i opted for it.The hostel was great with spacious rooms amd attached toilets. It was a sharing room with 3 beds. The workers came every week for cleaning the rooms and toilets. From next year, the hostel was given inside the campus which had a common bathroom.

The seniors plays a key role in our college life. They guide us through various activities and informs us on all important things. They also help us in the time of trouble and we get many career guidance from them. Yes there is a bit of ragging like giving introduction and writing assignments. But never the rest,the seniors are very helpful.

I qualified WBJEE entrance exam and went through the seat allotment process.once i got electrical engineering in the counselling process, i confirmed my seat by visiting one of the wbjee office in MALDA on 25th of june. Then i went to Haldia to my college for the further admission process. Then finally my college started on 16th of August 2017.

I won't say that the facilities of my college are great. They are average with not very high degrees also,it is not like that all are qualified from a reputed college. But they are very helpful and very cooperative and helps in every manner they could.
