College with good values

Positive is that placement and jobs provide in very good percentage and great environment and negative is that study hours are more , students also want time for extra curricular activities due to 8-5 classes students got less time.

In this college my steam is electronic communications I m done many things in my field it was a great experience and in first year all branches have same subject like environment , humanity , physics , chemistry, mathematics etc. There are MST and EST once in a semester and sessional marks covers lab evaluation ,quizs , tutorial test, presentation,gd etc.

Placement and job opportunities are very excellent in Thapar University almost 90% students are placed that are sitting in placement exams . Are College invite the internship companies and they take their recruitment process and choose the candidate.

There are many societies in my College that organised many events like izhaar, mudra, saturnalia, urja, Thapar olympic etc. In izhaar Ist , second , third year and pg students compete with each other. Best overall culture and traditional year got first position. Saturnalia is our Thapar main fest in which we invites stars like popular musicians , actors, comedian etc it is 3-4 day festival.

Fee structure is expensive for middle society person and below almost 16 lakh for Btech this is huge amount actually mainly hostels are expensive they provide very facilities so they charge more. Free WiFi provided in the hostels also.

Our College provide scholarship to the first 10% people to all the branches in a year according to their CGPA , scholarship amount is almost 70k .And they also provides proper fees structure so that student can easily got study loan from the bank .

Extracurricular activities was really good proper coaches and grounds are provided to the students. Maintenance of the ground and court was really good. Proper equipments are provided by the college for sports and labs .

Yes ofcourse alumni network and senior students are very helpful. Senior students guide a lot, and helps in our projects and give many ideas to do the things in better way. They are also help in extracurricular activities like helps in societies how to handle the freshers and how to organised the events etc.

Through JEE main entrance exam, stream we get in this college on the basis of JEE main score. It has also Punjab kotta cutoff for Punjab students is less than that of others state students. computer science has maximum cut-off.

According to my opinion faculty was good , cooperative nd and very helpful .if we want some help regarding any subject or project and any another problem and personal issue we can easily discuss with our mentor or faculty and they also help us to solve our issue.
