College management is very good. Specially principal is very nice, he would help is organise many events.

Curriculum is average but it is an autonomous college so it has some interesting advantages over other colleges. It has many research going on but that's for masters student. Proffesors would also encourage you to go for reasearch. They will provide infrastructure and money for that purpose.

Placements are good. All of my batch mates got placed. Specially for Ceramic branch many company come for hiring and also offer high packages.

Jagriti.We celebrated diwali and other festive also.A get on annual basis gets organised and many students from colleges all over the country would participate in it.From cultural fest to technical fest everything is celebrated.Students also have celebration of their own.

Since it is a government college, fees are very less.Where one had to pay 40000 to 60000 in a private college, it is just 7000 rupees per semester for computer Science Engineering.It is 9000 per semester for Information Technology and 11000 for the Ceramic Technology.

You can avail the West Bengal free ship scheme scholarship which is awarded to meritorious students with a weak financial background.

Gender ratio is good. If you are smart enough will make some girlfriend. The atmosphere is very good. It is ragging free. We celebrate small ocassion together. We help each other in difficulty. Specially seniors are very helpful. Many competitions like coding, robotics and cultural competitions like debate, dance and many more.

There is hostel facility for both girls and boys seperately. It is well maintained and hygienic. Specially Toilets and bathrooms are above average. There is air conditioning facility also but you have to pay extra for that. Overall it is much better than some of the private hostels.

Seniors are very helpful. They share their experience and you can rely on them. They are genuine and always wish better for you.

It is a government college, so fee is very less compared to private colleges. First you have to clear entrance exam of WBJEE and if you got under 3000 rank then you can apply for the college.I opted for the college because it has the same level of education to offer as of private colleges and fee was also less.

Most of the faculties are good. But they are prefer teaching in Bengali and I am not a Bengali. Faculties have firm knowlege of the subject but some of them still lack the knowledge of new technologies and are reluctant to change. But overall they are generous and will help you anytime you need them.
