Hansraj college : we make future

College is truly deserve to be one of the best college in our country. It have great diversity. you will be a better version of urself if you get a admission in this college. One thing i dont like is. Strength of college is about 5000 but hostel have a accommodation for only 200 to 300 students and also there is no girls hostel that disappoints me alot.

University follows CBCS system for evaluation. Its ranking says all. There is still a semester base system. 2 sem per year. In my course i have 4 subjects in 1st ans 3rd year but 5 subjects in 2 year. In an honours degree we have 2 core subject 1 general Elective and 1 ability enhancement subjects per sem in our 1st year. In 2nd year we have 3 core subject 1 general elective and 1 skill enhancement subjects per sem in 2nd year And then 2 core subject and 2 disdiscipline specific elective subjects per sem.in 3rd year.

Placement is mosrly for commerce and statistics couces.in DU students of Eco (h) and b.com(h) secures a on campus placement and internships. Average package of my college is nearly about 4-5 lakh per annum. Every year 1000s of students get internship

DU is well known for its fest you can talk about crossroad fest of SRCC or confluence that is of hanstraj. Every year a huge crowd gathers there. we get sponsorships from leading businesses and company.and invites many celebrities to perform.like shah rukh khan from hansraj.badshah guru randhawa and many more. Except annual fest we regular have our events.every society is active and organize many event throught the year

We have to submit our fees in a single installment in the beginning of the session. Fees is very feasible with an average of 12 to 15 thousand. Hansraj is an exception for fees. But still it is feasible. Fees of my course is about 23000 per year including exam fees. And there are many scholarships provided by college and University at there level. And fee structure is different for different people like for PWD category its around 100 to 200 rs only per year.

College and university both offers scholarship on the basis of your annual income. To help economically weaker section they provude 2 type of scholarship one is 100% return of fees and 2nd is 50% of fees depending on there income and background.

Du is a prestigious institution of our country. Many students aims to get admission here from all across the country and its language courses attract foreign students also. We get a great diversity in college and even in our class. Gender ratio is almost equal. Campus is very safe for girls that encourages parents to allow them to send them here for there graduation and post graduation. There is no type of discrimination on basis of anything. And there is a great political environment in campus.we have our election for student union every year. Which is fair and create a healthy environment in campus

If you are not able to get a college hostel then it will gonna be very difficult for a middle class student to live in Delhi and specially on the campus. As PGs rent is very expensive that is nearly about 13000 per mont including 4 time meal, laundr,ACs but excluding electricity bill. PG owner chargers a high rate of electricity nearly about 12 to 13 rs unit. For small rooms also you need to pay a very high amout. On an average monthly expenses of a single student is 15 to 16 thousand per month.which is very high for a lower middle class and poor people.

Our seniors are very helpful.on the day of admission they had take care of us and helped alot in our admission. There is no chance if raging. They are like our elder beothers. They not.only guide us in our academics but also in our career. They show us the face of reality. They are very helpul and are like our elder brother.a family away from home

I love to play with numbers and have an interest in mathematics that made me to opt for the course. Hansraj college,Delhi University is one of the best institution in our country its nirf ranking is 9 And nacc ranking is A+++ with 3.62 highest in delhi university. For the admission 1. We have to fill the online admisaion form available on DU offical website by mid may mostly after 12th result 2. Admission is based on merit list of class 12.Many courses need aggregate of top 4 subject and many need of top 3 3. In july every college release there cut off list individually and DU also release a cut off list of all college in one pdf for every course. 4. you need to see that for which college and course you are eligible for and have to reprt in the college within given days with your original documents 5 there is a reservation in D.U so you need to take ir caste certificate with uh. 6. After the verification pf documents. I will get a online link for payment of your fees you have to complete it. Then you are admitted in the college. 7.University give you a chance to change your college or course after every cutt off with a charge of 1000rs.

Best institution is made by best faulty. In our 1st and 2nd sem we have been taught by AIR-1 of JAM examinatio. We have a fully planned structire for teaching you can see it on official website.teachers and students have a guideline for what to complete in a week for every semester. Teachers are well qualified and well recognized across the best institutions.
