Remarks

A decent college for small towners so if you have an engineering dream and you don’t want to leave this town. Go and take admission

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Back then it used to be a decent engineering college in Rohtak. I would say best of the town. I am saying best because by the time I finished my degree there were close to 10 engineering colleges in our town. There were no any industrial visits. there was only one joint campus of Indy for 2010 batch

Placement Experience

2

There was a TPO but the placement was not that good in this college back then. There was only a single joint campus of Indy with 3 participant colleges and 35 students from each college were selected. I could not get through that. Apart from this one opportunity there was none.

College Events

3.5

There used to be a annual fest in the university and one time in our 4 year tenure we hosted it. I guess those memories were the best one. The auditorium of the college used to be huge and all the indoor events used to happen there only. Major USP

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was not that expensive. I guess I paid close to 50-55k per year fee Yes the college was affiliated and the fee structure was pretty fair I got admission based on the AIEEE rank so I did not pay any extra amount but the management quota students paid a hefty amount for the admission

Fees and Financial Aid

Not applicable to me but I know some students got the scholarship due to the economic conditions but i don’t know the details around this

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was one of the USP of our college. it used to have a lot of empty places where we used to roam around Gender ratio was very bad but what can you expect from an engineering college Annual fest and some sports event used to be there so good in that sense

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No but I spent some time in the hostels at the festival time and exam days. the food was pathetic Except the Rajma chawal, I remember I used to specially go on those days but hostel life has its own charm

Alumni/Alumna

We hardly got connected to the seniors and there is nothing much on this to write about. The only time we connected was at annual feats and that used to be good. No tagging and all used to be there so overall good

Admission

Back then engineering was a very hot shot profession for all middle class people and to achieve the big dreams. I took AIEEE exam and got chance to take some other college but as this college was in my city and my parents didn’t want me to go away from their eyes I took admission in this college

Faculty

3

Frankly speaking this college was run by community and most of the faculty members both lecturers as well as staff were of the same community. The engineering students study rather on their own than with the help of faculty but I would say they were not bad teachers.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
