There is no student union to put forward the demands of college students and hence everything is undertaken by the facilities and the audience without any concern of students even though it may effects adversely

Yea, the current course is well structured and the faculties are not that helpful but there are some which are, all I know is you are the best learner if you learn yourself although college provides with good professor's holding phD's but let's not to forget it's a government institute. Yea the college has good infrastructure and facilities for students, college hostels well, and for the money they charge it's quite good comparing to private institute.

Yea, placements are quite okay. Internship can be provided by the college. Companies like capegemini, reliance, Samsung, Amazon, GAP, etc many visit campus. For a student to sit in placements he or she requires a minimum of 6.5 cgpa. Yes the institution prepares students for placements

The cultural fest named Hillfaree is organised in campus during the month of October. There's another technical fest organised in the college called NIMBUZ in the month of March in campus itself, other than this the college is actively organizing programs like poetry session's etc during the whole year

The fee structure is very much feasible and the fee depends upon if you have a income certificate like if your parents if your parents annual income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then you need to pay only 31,000 for semester and 25000 for hostel and mess fees in all semesters and if if your parents annual income is under 1 lakh then you only need to pay 9000 for semester plus 25000 for hostel and mess fees and if your parents income is more than faisla per annum then and you need to pay 71000 for a semester. Consider the fact that if you are from SC ST category this amount may even be lower.

Gender ratio in NIT Hamirpur is quite good than any other engineering college in India at least government college like andt like NIT and IITplayground for sports 3 tennis court in NIT Hamirpur one basketball court one volleyball court one cricket ground one football ground which actually merged with the same groundthere is no student Union in the college so the student protest against anything going in collegethe college facilities and hostel Warden implement whatever they want to without taking any concern of students although there is a committee in which they do our students but they have actually no right to to provide any kind of difference between what they want and what the faculty wants

Yes, the hostels are quite well maintained and the food in the mess is ok but the hostel wardens the create a lot of problems for the students by implementing their unnecessary thickness strictness which is not at all required plus this 24/7 electricity available in the hostels where we are allowed to use equipment like electric kettles and heaters in winter not to mention if you get caught they take actions but most of the times they don't analyse anyone

yes it is very helpful in health students currently studying in the institute for placements and internships and they actually very helpful in this

Well, for getting into an NIT. You need to clear the hee mains examination with a rank good enough so that you can get an admission into an Nit, I got admission in this college on 24th July 2017, you need to visit the college after the DOSSA registration with the documents mentioned on the college website after that everything will be done in college itself. They would provide you with everything even a bank which will be open on Sundays if admissions are going on, it's SBI.

No. Of lectures are more than any other college, we attend college from morning 9am to 6pm on most days it's quite frustrating. We don't have enough time for self development. The doubts would get clear if you reach out the teachers. Well some of the lectures do hold but most of them don't.
