Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE and my rank was around 55000. I opted for this college as it was much more closer to Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was pretty much similar to what is being followed in other colleges which are affiliated with Kurukshetra University. A very detailed course related to Computer Science.

Internships Opportunities

As of 2005-2009, there were no intern-ship program provided by the college, however, the students have to arrange for their own intern-ship programs by contacting the companies .Either through interview process or with the help of someone already working in it.

Placement Experience

2.5

As such, the college do have some placement programs in place, with companies like Voltas and Carrier were invited to offer jobs. Also, the students used to take part in joint campus placements held at other colleges of same or different universities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is somewhat feasible during the year of 2005-2009 with 40, 000 being the annual tuition fees and another 35-40, 000 as hostel fees which included the mess charges as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college used to provide scholarships to student toppers but there were no loan facilities provided by the college. However, educational loan can be taken through reputed banks like Punjab and Sind Bank or State Bank of India.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was very simple, with the day starting with classes held at the college and day ending with the same way. There were no extra-curricular activities held by the college with respect to sports or robotic competition etc.

Alumni/Alumna

There are no alumni meetings or celebrations that are held by the college. Even there is few or no interactions with the senior students or with any other college faculty.

Exam Structure

The college followed the semester system, where the University exams were held every 6 months, however, there were sessional exams held at the end of each month with test for two subjects happening the same day, one morning and other in the evening.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was a mix of experienced and fresh lecturers, the experienced lecturers had a good experience in the subject they taught and the fresh lecturers were confident enough to teach the students.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
