The college is a great one and will be a name to head in the coming days. The management is good on their own rights

Course Curriculum Overview

I can apply it in practical terms while building an app or website. It also benifitted me through its numerous workshops to increase/sharpen my arsenal. All the core subjects are taught in a very systematic way so that the semester doesnt feel very bulky

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like amazon, ibm etc comes for recruitment. My department CSE currently holds a 100% placement record. They have mentoring classes for placements.

College Events

University festival is held, science event Techblitz is held where participants from all over the north ease region comes. The festival is called talent tantra. Many bollywood singers fly in for this event. Many DJs and whatnot visits here. Also the fest has a lot of other events

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. They accept both cheque, cash, online bank transfer. No addl fees. Full transparency into the structure. However, if one is paying via cash, he/she might to wake up early and reach the university early in order to avoid a long queue outside the cash counter

Fees and Financial Aid

Did not apply for any scholarship. They do offer opportunities. Some of my friends have availed also

Campus Life

The campus life is good. Gender treatment is unbiased. The girls have the same rights as the boys. The girls do have an extra layer of protocol when it comes to hostel. There is no racism inside the campus. Also, there arent much cases of ragging in the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are talented and many have secured jobs in high profile companies. They do visit the university when they are in town.

Admission

I was keen of engineering and didnt appear for JEE. I didnt want to sit a year so I took in the best private univeristy in the north east. I got to know it from my father who heard it from his fellow colleague. The admission process is smooth. The reception is helpful

Faculty

Most of them are PHD and average age would be around 35. 1 lecture per subject daily. All of them are skilled in their own domains. And even if they are not skilled enough, they try their level best to learn the things and then impart knowledge onto the students

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I chose kaziranga University over other colleges mainly because of the fees. The fees is quite less compared to other universities and the facilities are also quite good.
