Entrance Preview
I took IIT - 78 , BITSAT - 225, Manipal - 100, AIEEE - 95, through AIEEE i got college with required stream that was NAC A Grade approved.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had various subjects which was evenly divided in 8 semesters. Each semester was having 3 numecial based subjects like SOM, TOM, DOM and 2 theory based subjects like Industrial Engg.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship at Greaves Cotton Limited as trainee engineer in Industrial Engine division. We were given project of design and development of conveyor chain for carrying crankshafts. The stipend provided is around Rs. 5000.
Placement Experience
The college offer guaranteed placement assistance to all its students . Last year companies like IBM, Infosys, Electromech, Gabriel, Forbes Marshal, Godrej & Boyce.
College Events
We used to celebrate many events in college the main one is annual function, also we used to celebrate traditional day, rose day , riders day, blood donation day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very much feasible for students of all categories. General Category - 75000/year, SC- 38000/year, ST- 15000/year, NT - 5000/year, thus it suits everybody's pocket.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is only applicable for SC/ST/NT students . Apart from this loan facilities and all leading banks are provided.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good with loads of fun filled experiences with both teachers and friends. Every day we had 3 practical and 3 theory seccions ranging between 50-60 minutes. The theory subjects were very boring and we ended up talking to friends.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very well equipped with gym, mess and play room. Also there are separate hostels for both boys and girls.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni meet happens twice every year , one is department wise and the other occurs where all department alumni meet and share our current life and professions
Exam Structure
The exam is conducted by PUNE UNIVERSITY semester wise. There are a total of 8 semesters. The last 2 semesters are having internship marks added to them.
Faculty
It was interesting using different tools to teach. Each subject was having theroy as well as practical sessions. Along with it we were taken to various industrial visits for our overall development.
