Positives : Tries to provide best facilities they can Many students from here have done well in research fields. College campus is good. The mail id provided by college gives many benefits apart from mail services.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is a little bit outdated.It would have been a lot better if the courses were more relevant with todays technology. But its not colleges fault. Most the colleges in India have same problem. And the focus in course is more on theory than on application.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are average. Means one wont be unemployed but they can't hope for placement above 10L per annum if they depend on the college. Yes the college provide internship. I am currently an intern at Dynamic Digital Tech. ( Polaris Networks) with a stipend of 8000 Rs per month. The stipend is not enough but its better than nothing.
College Events
The college lacks in this field.In the first year all the evens like Eclesia, Daksh and other events were held very peacefully. And those were good too. In 2nd year, no events had taken place due to some management issue. In 3rd year the events that occured were just average and most of the fun events were cancelled due to rain.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I haven't opted for any of those. But i dont know of any of these for student. Some of my friend have taken the education loan from other banks like Allahabad Bank and others. Also there are govt scholarship i know of.
Campus Life
extra curricular is mandatory to collect 75 points. These points are compulsory to complete the Btech Degree. But the fun in doing extracurricular is lost because now we are forced to do it just for points. Labs are fine. All systems work, if not repaired in time.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful. Like elder brothers and sisters. The always be there at any time to help you of any type. Like other colleges there is no place for ragging in my college. Tremendous experience with the seniors. Hats off
Admission
I registered for WBJEE entrance examination. Then i sat for WBJEE exam. I secured rank around 3000. Then the WBJEE counselling started. I filled out for 4 colleges all in CSE branch. On first round i was allocated Techno India. On Second round HIT was assigned to me. After that i reported to college and took admission
Faculty
The faculties of CSE Maths and Physics are very good. Almost all of them are expert in their area of expertise. They try to do the best in teaching. Faculties are helpful. Overall i have a positive opinion about the faculties here.
