Remarks

Positively they r good in academics but not above average negatively food and hostel facilities are not good enough. Teaching is good. Library facilities are good. People usually prefer this college because of climate of shimoga. But climate is get worse. Good teachers are here from different places very well versed

Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS IS good course. It's a noble profession. Im happy now it's been three years. At the same time it's hectic for non interested ones.it might get tougher for non interested ones. But it is how u take the profession

Placement Experience

4

Job opportunities nowadays are mainly dependant on entrance exams like neet pg Ya our college provide internship. Internship is okay but no much patients here. Stipend is not given but they r planning to give it from next year

College Events

2.5

Kannada rajyotsava fest deepavali teachers day students day.New Year.onam, Dasara. Football events indoor game events. No much events other than this. They usually are conservative in academics.so much hectic.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's too much actually for us it's 575000 and 125000 in total it's around 8lakhs.its not up-to the mark for the food and other facilities they r giving. But any how manageable for us. Hostel facilities are okay not up-to the best. Bit good area of college away from city. Transports cost too much

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships r given here but there might be installment of fees payment.its not rather helpful for financial crisis people but any how can manage to avail education here. No need to think about scholarship. But students can avail offer through government programs

Campus Life

2.5

There are only labs in the college, one for computer students, one chemistry lab, one physics lab, and last one library, not more than that. There was sports ground till last year but at that place this year BCA campus has built.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors r very much helpful In this College. They r up-to the mark for any problems personally or academically. They bring up motives. Encourage juniors to take up many initiatives for juniors. They r good in knowledge based support

Admission

Through neet ranking. I had reservations for my category.we had neeT exams in our year so I had to write one more neet exam for which I took exams second time because I was not satisfied with neet 1

Faculty

4

Faculty is well versed in teaching pre clinical, clinical, para clinicals are good but the patients are above average in number. So it always depends on self interest. Good faculties are here to whom many patients look coming for the consultation. Good teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
