Remarks
The college is a very good one. Everything is fine. The faculty, the laboratories, the infrastructure, the juniors, the seniors and everything. Just the management should be improved with some good people rather than some of the narrow minded typical Bengali people
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Tech is good in Heritage. Also, the teachers are quite friendly and helpful only if you wish to do good in your academics and the exam is conducted by the college itself as Heritage Institute of Technology is an autonomous college and there are two internals before the semester final examination
Placement Experience
I am in third year right now and I did not opt for internship till now. But some of my friends did internship at Kolkata Metro Railway and they got the support from our college itself and they said that the stipend was Rs. 3000
College Events
Heritage Institute of Technology celebrates two fests every year. One is the tech fest and the other is the cultural fest The tech fest is called Dakshh and the cultural fest is called Eclecia. These are the events the students keep waiting for the whole year and Eclecia is one of the biggest college fests in Kolkata.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about any scholarship facility in Heritage Institute of Technology. But, it provides loan facility to the student if the higher secondary marks are good. The college will help you in any way if you are willing to do good
Campus Life
The laboratories in Heritage Institute of Technology is very very good and I mean it. You can check it out on google especially the Biotechnology Engineering lab. It is the best or may be the second best in India. Again, check it out on google. Sports. Which sport you want to play. Just name it and you are ready to play but you have to play good or else there are many good players. You want to sing, there is the singing club and events where you can perform. You can dance in the auditorium during events and you can dance as well at the main stage of the cultural fest Eclecia.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network of Heritage Institute of Technology is very helpful. I heard this from my seniors. They told that many of them got their job because of the alumni association and a huge number of students are now working in abroad with the help of the alumni association and the seniors are actually the best I would say.
Admission
I appeared for WBJEE which is the entrance examination for engineering and architect colleges in Kolkata. And then I got my name in the merit list and appeared for the counselling and got the admission
Faculty
The faculty is quite good and supportive but only if you are willing to do good in your academics and show some interest towards your studies. For practicals also, teachers help the students as much as they can and if you move in the right track and excel in your academics, then you can reach New Jersey for your further studies as Heritage Institute of Technology does this every year with the students who perform very well in academics and also develop a good personality
