Remarks

College management is good. They are not biased towards anyone.

Entrance Preview

I did not give any entrance exam. I got admission with my PCM marks in 12th STD Board exam. I had scored 80% in PCM.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was tough in initial 2 years, But last 2 years were really good. My curriculum had practical as well as theory sessions.I also had few engineering drawing subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Companies from Electrical, Mechanical and Electronic field came to my college. Stipend is around Rs.5k per month. Internship companies also offer full time job after completion of engineering.

Placement Experience

3.5

In spite of my college not being in very big city, placements are good. You should have good result in 6th semester with average of 58% to get placements.

College Events

3.5

1) Annual paper presentation event named 'Aavishkar' is arranged in college every year.2) Annual social gathering and sports.3) Each department also arrange dept level events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is government college, fee structure is really feasible. It is very cheap compared to private college. My annual fees were Rs.25k, not sure about current fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a government college fees are comparatively less than private colleges. I am not sure about scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

Quarter of the total population is girls. Students from various parts of India come to my college so we have a very mixed culture. There is no ragging in college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels were not good 8 years back. Not sure about the current status.College does not have its own mess, students have to join other mess for food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very wide. Senior students are in good companies and in good positions which is real good thing for placements. Each year my college organized Alumni meet.

Exam Structure

We have 2 semesters in each year which includes practical as well as theory. The exams were conducted by university.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of my college was very helpful and motivating. They help understand the course doing practical things. They inspire to do extra curricular activities along with studies.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
