Remarks

For good remarks, teachers are quiet good but not the staff or I can clerks. They will delays everytime any student went for any help. College management are not so bad at all. Environment is good, canteen is not so good but also not so bad at all

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum and exam structure are fully organized by Calcutta University. Placement is not Good at all. Companies like BPO and call center come for recruitment. This recruitment drive is done by college. But if one option for only study then it is quite good for a student

Placement Experience

1

Placement are not good at all because it is not for specific industrial course. Some BPO and call center come for recruitment drive which is organized by the college. No internship are given to students. Only 10% applied for interview and 4% student get recruited

College Events

4.5

Fest is celebrated by the in college ground or in some other places which is organized by college union. intercollege competition is also organized union of colleges in any college, swarasati Puja is celebrated outside the college near road. Some other sports are also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my Time the total fees was 8000 a year inclusive all other cost paid directly to the bank. By taking a payslip from college which they check your results from university. Or otherwise if any student fail to pay fees they he/she have to pay 500 rupees as of fine

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't apply for any scholarships or educational loan. But some of my friends applied for loans which college arranged from their refered banks. And for scholarships students can apply within college the college will want some forms and will refund the full course fees

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio of boy and girls are 3:2 resp. Parties are hosted by the college unions ( which are worst). Cultural programs are hosted by college. Workshops are also done by college sometimes. Race, religion doesn't matter. Some time politics pressure affect in college. But union is worst

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, some of Friends use PG which is reasonable for students. If anyone went to college they will also also refer some of their PG for college. Their are no hostel attached with colleges. Or otherwise students find their own pg

Alumni/Alumna

There alumni record are good there. Many alumni students become part time teacher there. Senior students are quite helpful. But student union are worst if some students want to study and want to get marks then don't get involved in student union

Admission

Because I was in commerce stram in my school graduation. Factors are, it is near my home, good for honors studies, teachers are quite good, environment is good. After 12 go to the official website of this college and apply for admission. The merit list will be approached within two months according to 12 score.

Faculty

4

Lectures are mention on online, likely all college days. 5-6 class everyday and yes if anyone want to attend any class its his choice. Course clarity is same for every university. But yes Calcutta University got top in west Bengal so its students choice. Teachers and faculty members are good and helpful. Lectures are only held which students need for that course or that industry student applied for

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
