JEE. Don't remember score. Was long time back. It was the best private engineering college in the city.
Internships Opportunities
Experience was good. I did it in a CSIR lab but no stipend was offered. Students did internships from Indian Oil, Haldia Petrochemicals, CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good. Most of the students get placed during campus placements. Software comparies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro hire in large numbers and offer packages of about 3.5 lakhs INR per annum. Some core companies also hire few students. Packages range from 3.8-5 lakhs INR per annum.
College Events
The main event is the college fest Eclecia which is held once a year, mostly in the month of April. Large number of students participate in different cultural events. Also there is a technical fest called Daksh which also has lot of participants. There are other events like Robotic competition etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was little expensive. We had to pay 20,000 INR per semester for eight semesters. These days the fees have increased even more. I am not very sure about the current fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were scholarships. I had heard about them. But I have no idea about specific ones. I was not offered any scholarship/loan from my college.
Campus Life
Campus life was super amazing. There were options for a lot of extracurricular activities like singing, dancing. Cricket and football tournaments were held frequently. Robotics competition was held once a year. The labs were good. These days with new infrastructure, the labs have improved.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college alumni are very successful professionally. The have done higher studies from world class institutions such as IITs, IIMs, Stanford University, Purdue University.
Exam Structure
Internal exams were held twice a semester. There was not much of pressure. Labs were very frequent and we had to submit assignments on time. The final exams were held at the end of each semester along with viva.
Faculty
Very good faculty. These days the standard has improved even more. The professors were highly qualified and most of them had great expertise in teaching as well as the subjects.
