WBJEE, my rank was 3961. I opted for this collage because it was one of the best in the city for my rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is quiet precise and is taught well. We do not have much elective subjects. Each semister we have about five to six subject all of which are already pre determined by the college. We had only one elective subject in our 6th semester.
Internships Opportunities
As i am third year i have not had the opportunity to do any internships yet. As heard from seniors internships are provided in good companies. As far as the stipend is concerned i am yet to know about it.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the collage undertakes the training and placement of the students. Various it and core companies come for recruitment.
College Events
Our college have two major events. The cultural fest eclacia and the tech fest dakshh. Both the events are celebrated in elaborate ways for 3 days with participants from various colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Each semester costs on an average 37000rs. But there are various scholarships and programs for students who cannot afford the same. Overall the fee structure can be categorized as feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students who are unable to afford their tuition fees as given an opportunity to avail scholarships based on their performance in the semesters and attendance.
Campus Life
The campus life is blissful. The gender ratio overall will be 60%males. There are six cultural societies that cater to co curricular activities. The other facilities are also very good. The overall economic status is on the high end.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not very sure about the alumni network of the collage. But we were given an opportunity to interact with the alumni when we joined the collage. Apart from that we always had a very good relation with our seniors.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is very chilled out. During each semester we have two internal tests apart from the semester exams which is organised by the west bengal university of technology.
Faculty
The faculty is quiet friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very punctual and regular in the classes. We are freely allowed to approach any faculty for better understanding of any topic.
