Remarks

The college management is very good expect the scholarship section which is rude sometimes for students. Good thing is that our college is top college of country.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Yes the course is curriculum relevant and it helps in building the society by providing doctors to society so that the various diseases are treated and in medical profession there is no industrial visit expect in 3rd year for PSM subject to know about the biomedical waste management etc. And it provides industry related knowledge to students and helps in betterment of society.

Placement Experience

5

The placement of our college is very good. The various hospitals which conduct placement include fortis hospital, narayana hospital etc. The college provides one year internship to each and every student after the completion of course. Nearly 70% of students get placed in various hospitals and rest of them wants to practice privately by their own hospital. The institution takes special steps in preperation of students for placement.

College Events

5

Every year there are intercollegiate and intracollegiate events will be taken place. They include academic as well as nonacademic events. The academic events include workshop, quizzes, poster presentation and essay writings etc. The nonacademic events include dance, singing, band, racing, sports of every kind etc. Students from various medical college attend our fest. Last year MJ5 were came to our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible at our time of admission and recently the govt has hiked the fee of medical colleges. The fee ate our time is 20000 per year and includes additional 17000(one time) building fee for whole course. The payment mode accepted is by challan to a nearby bank. There is no need of additional fee payment in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have ofted for scholarships from National scholarship portal which is provided by govt of India and is for every student. I have availed it in every year. Eligibility criteria is dependent on income of students family. The average scholarship is 30000 per year.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is good. There is gender ratio of 2:1(boy:girl) in our college. There is no description among ethnicity, race religion of students. All are equal. The college conduts sports events which are held at state level or national level. There are workshops conducted on every subject to help in better understanding of students.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes I opted for hostel. Each room has 3 students and attached bathroom and toilet. They provide beds and cupboard. The food is also good here and includes 2 special foods every week. The hostel rent is 3000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and seniors are very helpful. They guide us in how to study, what to study, which books to read etc. Overall they are helpful in resolving our each and every problem. I must thank all of them for guidance and support.

Admission

I got admission from CET exam conducted by KEA, Karnataka. Nowdays CETis replaced by NEET. The exam held mostly in May and admissions start in july-august. The process includes first online selection of choices of college and opting a suitable and preferred college by you and after that you have to submits the original and photocopy of documents and have to pay fees through challan in a bank. I choose this college because it is one of the top medical college in India and top college of Karnataka and it has various hospitals afflicted to it for learning of students so that students get better practice of medicine.

Faculty

5

The teachers are certified doctors and they teach us in very conceptual manner. The qualification age is around 30yrs and degree should be MD or DNB in special branch of medicine. The students ar divided into groups and each group contains 7 to 8 students and each group assigned a doctor for teaching students so that each student has opportunity to learn equally and doubts of students can be clarified easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
