The course for ME is more industry specific than any other branch. You will get industry visits more often and a 6 months training in the last year of your course. The training is highly beneficial for the students because the field exposure makes you the man the industry want. The exams are taken in 2 parts- sessional exams are taken twice in the semester and final exams are taken in months of may and december.

There is a very good placement for CE & IT branches while ME holds avg. placement in terms of package. There is 80-90% of students placed every year at a avg. Package of 3.2 LPA having highest package of 8 lakhs by MARUTI India. Companies like Eicher, Dabur, Jindal steel, Ador welding, Panasonic, Maruti, Hero, Johnson control, Daikin,Amazon, Samsung etc. visit every year. Elements Culmyca is the annual cultural and technical fest of YMCAUST. Events like zumba, robowars, star night, DJ night, Technoquizzes, singing dancing competitions and fun events are held on a series of 3 days in the month of march. Students from nearby universities also participate in the fest. Stars like Garry Sandhy, Sharry Maan, Harrdy Sandhu and many famous youtubers are invited in the annual fest.

The campus is too short and the playground is also small but every major game is played by the students and many sports events including inter university events are held across the year. The labs are well equipped but not enough for the entire batch at a time. So the batch is divided into 2 or 3 parts of students. The college is having zero tolerance policy on ragging and also an anti ragging cell operates in the college. The crowd is basically from middlemen and local areas of Faridabad.

Yes, the hostel rooms are served on basis of come first get first. Normally, 3 students share 1 room. In case the students don't get the hostel seat the average PG rentals are 5500 per month. There are beds, chairs, wall almirah, tables, fans etc. are placed in the room with no power cuts. Water cooler and RO water is also provided.

Yes the alumnus are connected through social sites i.e facebook, instagram etc. to interact with the students and sharing the experience. Some of them get visits in the year to interact with the students.

I have JEE main OBC rank less than 60k got me admission in ME branch. For admission you have to do rank counselling process from HSTES which will give the college and respective branch based in your rank. Generally this process is done in mid june. After the name you got in counselling you can go to the college with listed documents and can get admission easily.

There are 20-25 lecturers in our course i.e ME holding avg. age of 35 years and avg. qualification of PHD and M.tech. There is a lot of variety in the expertise held by the lecturers i.e in automobile sector, refrigeration industry, business firms etc. Many of them hold certification from NPTEL.
