Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed such as to provide theoretical as well as practical ( industrial) knowledge. Therefore from the 2nd year onwards, one industrial visit per semester is held in one of the best industries such as Coca-Cola, Shriram piston, BHEL Haridwar, etc.
Placement Experience
The placement is excellent as far as getting placed is concerned but the package not-so-high with an average CTC of 3. 5-4 LPA. Just one company HUL gives 8-10 LPA otherwise all others are on the 3. 5-4 LPA range. For recruitment, an Aptitude round followed by a Technical round followed by an Interview is done. Almost everyone that is a bit serious enough gets placed, maybe not in core companies but in software companies.
College Events
A lot of fests are held and wrt events and fests conducted, I can guarantee it is one of the best private colleges in Delhi-NCR to conduct so many fests in a very good manner. The fests include Technical, Cultural, Sports, as well as a lot of Quiz-related events, are held by a club Quizzing. The participation is very huge and you would enjoy it a lot these.
Fee Structure And Facilities

Campus life is okayish. For the Mechanical branch, the gender ratio is 80:3. For CS/IT it can go up to 3:2 stating the boys: girls ratio. Most people are from North India but there is no such restriction. There is no discrimination on the basis of gender, race, or religion.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel accommodation is limited with single, double, and triple seater rooms. Around 0. 9lpa including mess is to be paid. The rest of the students opt for PG around campus which is comparatively very cheap.
Alumni/Alumna
Not at all. Senior interaction is total zero on the campus and this is one of the worst things. Alumni interaction is no different.
Admission
I got admission by writing the competitive exam UPSEE. The other ways to get admission are by writing JEE Mains and also by Management Quota which requires a good percentage in 12th boards. The first session begins around July and the counseling for that occurs from March to May.
Faculty
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give an overall rating of 5 for the faculties of KIET college. From 9 am to 5 pm, 8 lectures are held from Monday to Friday. The average age of the professors is 28-32 with mostly Mtech's and a few PhDs. The lectures were mostly theoretical without including anything in practical knowledge.
