Nice College. Good ambience and friendly people. If u have seen bollwood movies and want to learn and enjoy your College life.this is the collge.

The curriculum is vast, includes paper from different arena. It is a blend of relevant and classical approach. The teachers encourage to do research with them. The research program helped me a lot to reach NCBS and have groomed me into a person with problem solving ability.

Many of the students look forward for a master cours after this. They r successfully placed in premier institute of India as well as abroad. Some of the fellows have choosen lucrative jobs after the course and have been placed well (6l/year). College have in-house internship with faculty as well as helps to find internship in other places.

Fresher.it is greatto start with, there are two fresher one at department and other at college.both are lit. Fest.it's great again at both levels. Farewell.a aideu to our seniors. Small festival in between are celebrated as well. Like valentine's week or diwali mela etc.

20000 year for academic. It's a good low budgeted one. They donot nag in between years for extra money. You may or may not wish to contribute for different events happening but generally the contribution is below 500. It's pretty straight forward. You apply for a merit cum means scholarship, you will get around 50% fee waiver. If u r good in academic,you will recieve a sum of 3000 for books by University and 3500 by department every year. For these you donot need to fill any extra form, you r informed about this and then paid.

Campus Life is lit. This is north campus of Delhi University, if u have any dreams about a good College Life, it's here. Regular events inviting stars from different field is great. There are a number of societies for dance, poetry, dramatic, debate, social services etc. They work at both collge and University level and are fair and decent.

No. I have not opted for hostel. But the hostel is also given on the basis of merit. Shared room by 2. Cleanliness and tidyness is at best. The hostel food is also good compared to hostel. They charge around 35k for hostel for 6 months and takes in advance.

There are a lot of portal for alumni connection. We in turn also have groups formed. We get a lot of help from our alumni in getting a scholarship or internship. As well as career guidance.

They have an university application form coming in June. Then according to your percentage in class 12th board you get merit list. You get admission to the course using the merit list. Botany has a varied teachers comitted to teach a lot about classical botany as well as modern biology.

16-18 lectures and 4 labs a week. The schedule is hectic but it's fun, especially if u start to like the papers. The teacher takes their classes, with very rare miss outs. Faculty looks a bit rigid, with an heirarchy. But on a positive sid, they try their level best to accommodate students needs.
