Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is normal, like any other decent college, the faculty is good. Specifically the senior professors have food research experience and the way of teaching is good. Sufficient practical knowledge is imparted along with theory. Placements are also good.

Placements is decent for computer science. For others I'm not aware. Many god companies visit for both full time and internship opportunities. The process is standard mostly but depends on the visiting organisation.

College Events

Saturnalia, society events. All kinds of fests take place so you can explore any interest you want in these fest, be it singing, dancing, painting, robotics, what not. You'll find an event and like minded people for everything. Full rating for fests and societies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive now, I heard. The fee has been increased many fold in the last few years but probably the college website is the best place to a definitive answer. The breakdown would also be provided over there. But surely, it's on the expensive side for new students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available depending on your JEE score. I'm not aware about the loans and the procedure. Can be looked up at the bank available on campus.

Campus Life

All kinds of students from within and outside of Punjab. Society life is good. All kinds of societies available to all your interests. You can avail many opportunities by participating in various society events and tests organized throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostels are amazing. Average rental is on the higher side in new hostels, this will need to be looked up. There are enough of the. To accommodate the students. There are PGs outside but I would recommend staying in hostel if you can afford to.

Good almuni network. We have alumni meets every year and a dedicated society to get in touch with alumni.

Admission

Through JEE Mains. Fill the form with JEE score, choose your courses in the order of preference and then wait for the shortlist of various courses. If you make the cuttoff you'll be invited for the counselling in the campus. If all goes well, you'll be offered admission.

I don't know the exact number but overall I have a positive feedback for the faculty. They're highly experienced and can provide good insights to your projects. You can approach them to get your doubts cleared. Full rating for the faculty from my side.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. inside campus walls

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
